Our Projects

Emergency refuges and support

We have three refuges for people who need support to escape from domestic abuse in Gwynedd and Anglesey. They are places of safety, available in an emergency 24 hours, 7 days a week for women and their children and we also have a provision for men.

We have a Floating Support project that supports women, men and their families in Gwynedd and Anglesey. Our independent domestic violence advisers offer expert provision and are available to give individual support. By working with other agencies such as North Wales Police, we can support people who are in high risk situations.

Supporting children and young people

We have specialist provision to support children and young people suffering from the effects of domestic abuse. We can offer information, encouragement and emotional support for individuals and families in Anglesey and Gwynedd.

In Dolgellau and Llangefni, our One Stop Shop offers a holistic service to individuals suffering domestic abuse.
Bws Gorwel is a mobile information unit that offers support to victims of domestic abuse who live in rural areas that lack public transport services.
